چکیده
Mastitis is a prevalent disease in dairy cattle, and staphylococci are among the most common causative pathogens. Staphylococci can express resistance to range of antimicrobials, which methicillin particular public health concern. Additionally, Staphylococcus aureus carries variety virulence factors, although less understood about non-aureus (NAS). The aim our study was identify characterize 3 collections staphylococcal isolates from bovine milk samples regarding antimicrobial resistance, with emphasis on their carriage genes typically displayed by Staph. aureus. A total 272 collected Norway Belgium 2016 were included, distributed as follows: group 1, Norway, 100 isolates; 2, Flanders, Belgium, 64 3, Wallonia, 108 isolates. Species identification performed use MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. Phenotypic determined via disk diffusion, PCR used for detection genes, mecA mecC, genes. Antimicrobial epidermidis haemolyticus all different groups, trimethoprim-sulfonamide frequently occurring well Resistance penicillin observed 1. Ten Belgian (1 9 3) carried determinant mecA: 5 2 farms NAS farms. Almost positive at least screened whereas, total, only 8 harbored any same Our contributes continuous need knowledge food-producing animals basis better understanding occurrence traits these bacteria.

Phenotypic and genotypic antimicrobial resistance of staphylococci from bovine milk.
The aim of this study was to examine phenotypic and genotypic antimicrobial resistance of staphylococci from milk samples from cows with subclinical and clinical mastitis and from cows without mastitis symptoms to methicillin, tetracyclines, macrolides and lincosamides (ML). Of 207 strains, including 34 S. aureus and 173 coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS), 11 (6.4%) CNS strains were phenoty...
متن کاملDetecting Virulence Factors and Antibiotic Resistance Pattern of Trueperella Pyogenes Isolated from Bovine Mastitic Milk
Backgrounds and Aims: Mastitis is a mammalian disease which is considered important due to its potential economic damages. Trueperella pyogenesis is one of the important opportunistic pathogens of the mammary glands of cattle. This bacterium can produce acute mastitis infection in dairy cattle. In fact, this bacterium has several virulence genes which contribute to its pathogenicity. Therefore,...
متن کاملAntimicrobial resistance and genotypes of staphylococci from bovine milk and the cowshed environment.
Investigation of antimicrobial resistance and genetic relatedness of staphylococci from milk of cows with mastitis and cowshed environment was the aim of this study. Antimicrobial resistance against 14 antimicrobials were determined by using a disc diffusion method. Genetic similarity between the most frequently isolated species was analysed by PFGE (pulsed-field gel electrophoresis). Haemolyti...
متن کاملGenetic characterization of antimicrobial resistance in coagulase-negative staphylococci from bovine mastitis milk.
Coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS; n=417) were isolated from bovine milk and identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry. Nineteen different species were identified, and Staphylococcus xylosus, Staphylococcus chromogenes, Staphylococcus haemolyticus, and Staphylococcus sciuri were the most prevalent species. Resistance to oxacillin (47.0% of th...
